Using the latest technology available to the industry our teams draw upon years of experience, training and current specification such as PAS-128 and TSA ‘the essential guide to utility surveys’. By incorporating all of the above we are able to create the ultimate non-intrusive survey results.

We use various techniques and equipment such as Electromagnetic Locators (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to accurately identify underground features and utility apparatus. We also obtain statutory undertakers records (STAT’s) for underground apparatus, which can be presented in a number of formats for use in the office and on site.

Working closely alongside our Geomatics team the position of all underground apparatus is recorded accurately, allowing for easy integration onto topographical survey data.

PAS-128 is the latest standard in underground utility detection, verification and location. The document is a guide for both clients and contractors and sets out clear expectations of quality levels and surveying techniques.

Working to either internal or external standards, our teams have the skill and knowledge to carry out drainage surveys. Working in partnership with our CCTV strategic partner, we are able to offer the complete solution tailored to your needs.

We use various techniques and equipment such as Electromagnetic Locators (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) we are able to accurately identify drainage features and apparatus.

With over 10 years’ experience working for Distribution Network Operators (DNO), our specialist teams are trained and qualified to enter electrical substations and work on all associated plant, equipment and cables.

We use various techniques and equipment such as, Global Positioning System (GPS), Total Station, Electromagnetic Locators (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to accurately identify above and below ground features.

CATSURVEYS’ MGPR uses a multi-frequency antennas to boost the quality of data and its reliability. The mobile feature of the system allows the recording of up to 50 linear kilometres per day with minimal impact on traffic and associated traffic management requirements, reducing health and safety risks and lowering cost when compared to traditional push GPR.

On its own it is a great tool, however by combining the MGPR data with other specialist technologies on offer such as electromagnetic locator (EML), topographical survey data and digital design data, has enabled us to create a unique intelligent 3D deliverable that is the ultimate non-intrusive survey result.
